We take allergies and intolerances seriously. Every dish we serve can be talked through with you before you order, and our team are trained to check with the kitchen rather than guess. This page explains how it works and what we need from you.
Tell us every time you visit
If you have a food allergy or intolerance, please tell a member of the team before you order — even if you have eaten with us before. Dishes and recipes change, and we would always rather double-check than assume. You can also:
- Add your requirements to the notes when you book a table, so the kitchen knows before you arrive.
- Ring us ahead of your visit on 01829 423184 if you would like to talk anything through first.
- Remind your server on arrival — they will confirm your order against the allergen information for each dish.
Allergen information for every dish
We hold allergen information covering the 14 regulated allergens for the dishes on our menus, and a full allergen guide is available on request in the venue — just ask a member of the team. The 14 allergens UK law requires us to declare are:
- Celery
- Cereals containing gluten
- Crustaceans
- Eggs
- Fish
- Lupin
- Milk
- Molluscs
- Mustard
- Peanuts
- Sesame
- Soybeans
- Sulphur dioxide and sulphites
- Tree nuts
An honest word about our kitchens
Our kitchens are busy, open kitchens where all 14 allergens are handled, and dishes are prepared in shared areas with shared equipment. Although we take every care to prevent cross-contamination, we cannot guarantee that any dish is completely free from traces of any allergen. If your allergy is severe, please talk to us before ordering so we can be straight with you about what we can and cannot promise.
Dietary requirements
- Vegetarian and vegan. Options run across every menu — use the V and VE filter chips on the menu pages to see what suits, and several pizzas, pastas and starters have vegan versions on request.
- Gluten-free. Gluten-free pasta is available on request across the menu — just flag it when you order. Note that our pizza dough is made and proved in the same kitchen as our other doughs.
- Anything else. If you have a requirement we have not covered here, ask — the kitchen would rather adapt a dish for you than have you order around the menu.
